In preparation for the Kin Kin Scooter Rally, Scott and Simon have been working on converting a 2000 Vespa PX 200 into a Vespa PX 210 performance machine!

Italjet Dragster 180
Scott has been working on his Italjet Dragster 180 for quite some time now… those who know the stories, this scooter and Scott have an intertwined destiny as it seems that the Dragster is planning constantly to buck him off in some way or another. This has been in the manifestation of the throttle locking on, the radiator ejecting all of its fluid out through the ignition block and once dropping all its oil on the rear tyre…
Background
Italjet Moto Srl (Italjet) is an Italian manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters founded in 1959 in Bologna, Italy by Leopoldo Tartarini. The Italjet Dragster 180 was launched in the 1990’s.
The Dragster was designed with an open trellis frame, which gives the scooter it’s distinct look and sets it apart from other scooters. There is a radiator behind the front panel and it has an independent steering system (SIS). This system has front hydro-pneumatic suspension horizontally positioned rather than the usual twin fork configuration used on most scooters.
At just 109kg, the Dragster performs like a sports bike, with quick acceleration and great maneuverability.
