More than two decades on from the 2001 launch of the first generation Piaggio Beverly, the latest model gets a makeover but retains the sporty grittiness and elegant design that have shaped the history of urban mobility. In their 300-cc and 400-cc versions, both the stylish Beverly and its more sporting Beverly S counterpart combine the dynamic qualities and grip of a high-wheeler with the exuberance and long-distance comfort of a great Tourer.

The Euro 5 HPE (High Performance Engine) is the result of Piaggio’s ongoing commitment to research and development. It not only offers significantly increased power and torque for a more responsive ride and outstanding performance, but also reduces noise and consumption, making it ideal for longer trips.

Functional technology

Technology transforms how you interact with your bike and simplifies the entire experience. The keyless ignition means you can start the engine, open up the seat and position the steering block while the fob is still in your pocket. The Bike Finder remote function activates the indicators and sounds the horn, making it easy to pick out your bike in even the most crowded parking spots.

Redesigned with you in mind

Cargo capacity is rounded by a practical luggage rack with integrated passenger grab handles, a retractable bag hook and a glove box incorporated in the leg shield back plate, complete with a USB port for charging mobile devices. The 400 HPE version also comes with a distinctive fairing as standard kit, for a look and attitude that is decidedly all about out of town touring.

The 400 HPE is about much more than an increase in volume. Compliant with Euro 5 standards, it ups the maximum power by 17% over the previous 350-cc version and boasts 30% more maximum torque. Delivering over 35 horsepower, the Beverly 400 has the most impressive weight-to-power ratio in the category.

Underseat storage

By positioning the fuel tank over the centre of the footwell, the underseat compartment is large enough to hold two jet helmets. Other advantages of this design include being able to refuel without dismounting and, as a result of the improved mass centralisation, an exceptional riding experience.

Piaggio MIA allows you to manage incoming calls, message notifications, view the last missed calls, manage music playlists, has a live tracking function and provides additional driving information. Maps and routes to petrol stations and service points can also be displayed on the smartphone.
