The long-awaited KYMCO DT X360 scooter has arrived in Australia, based on the excellent Downtown 350i template which includes the punchy 321cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, four-valve single-cylinder engine.

The DT X360’s major point of reference is based on its ‘adventure’ credentials, which includes 14- and 13-inch aluminum-alloy wheels shod with dual-purpose tyres to take on light off-road terrain as part of the machine’s more wide-ranging remit. Other standout features include traction control, a 12.5-litre fuel tank, 800mm seat height – 25mm higher than the Downtown – wide handlebars, keyless ignition, all-LED lighting, and a full-color LED digital screen and two USB ports. Underseat storage is roomy as well: enough to accommodate at least two helmets.

FEATURES

EFFICIENT FOUR-STROKE ENGINE
produces 21.2kW (28.8hp) of power and 30Nm of torque for maximum engine flexibility in all urban and touring environments. Additionally, peak power of the G5SC powerplant is produced lower in the rev range (now at 7250rpm) while peak torque is produced at 5750rpm for enhanced performance at lower rpm.

ADVANCED ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION
Electronic fuel injection is mapped to deliver an even low down power while maintaining consistent fuel economy.

The DT X360 has large 14- and 13-inch aluminum-alloy wheels shod with dual-purpose tyres to take you places you otherwise may not have gone.

OFFROAD EGOS
Wider handlebar assists in maximizing leverage, especially on unpaved surfaces, while the higher seating position (800mm, compared to 775mm on the Downtown) is to maximize rider visibility.

SUPERIOR STOPPING POWER
Stopping power comprises twin 260mm floating discs with three-piston calipers upfront while a twin-piston caliper bites a 240mm disc at the rear.

BOSCH ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS)
Bosch ABS is the most reliable and fastest-acting emergency braking system on the market. The Like is equipped with Bosch’s 9.1M ABS, which is the lightest anti-lock braking system in the industry, at only 0.7kg.

TRACTION CONTROL
Standard fitment of traction control, which in addition to the existing surety of ABS brakes, adds a high degree of safety and confidence to the riding experience.

SIMPLE TWIST AND GO TRANSMISSION
