2 Stroke vs 4 Stroke – What’s the difference?
In a 2 stroke engine, the oil mixes with fuel to lubricate the engine system, then burns together with the fuel. If the engine oil warning light glows, the engine oil should be topped up immediately to prevent the engine from seizing. We recommend that you check your oil level at every fuel fill.
The 4 stroke engine oil is located in the crank case. It should be completely changed, along with the oil filter (if your bike has one) as specified in the owners manual for your scooter or motorcycle.
