DUAL WHEEL DISC ABS BRAKING

Primavera and Sprint Tech models feature the first dual channel abs solution for the small frame Vespa range.

The rear brake is updated to an all-new disc brake with ABS providing Primavera and Sprint with a new level of safety.

 

5’’ FULL COLOUR TFT INSTRUMENT PANEL

One of the most advanced instrument panels available on the market, the TFT panel is characterized by the 5’’ full color display. When turning on/off the vehicle, the display shows the “Welcome/Goodbye”.

TRIP INFORMATION

The TFT Smart Dash has an on-board computer and provides the basic diagnostics in a quick-view form so a rider can see all the important information to manage the trip including instant and average consumption, maximum and average speed, total and partial odometer, autonomy and status of battery charge, the remaining fuel capacity. Thanks to the practical MODE button positioned on the right side of the handlebar, it is possible to access the dashboard settings.

“VESPA MIA” CONNECTIVITY*

The digital instrumentation allows for the management of connectivity, for example to signal the notification of an incoming call and message thanks to the dedicated icons.

The MODE button allows to cyclically display information on the multifunction panel. It also allows navigation within the “SETTING MENU” and setting the various parameters.

This is possible by pressing or moving button in right and left directions with short or long presses. Using the MODE button, the rider can set the language (Italian, English, German, French, Spanish), the clock and manage the Vespa MIA system.

The instrument panel has been designed to make the best use of all on-board connectivity functions. Through Vespa MIA and Vespa App, with the connection between the vehicle and the smartphone, the rider has access to many functions, in complete safety, thanks to the notifications displayed on the screen. The new instrument panel displays all the management and connectivity info: 2 1 3 4 5 • Incoming phone calls • Missed phone calls • Messages notification • Music management • Social media notification • GPS navigation system (turn by turn)

NAVIGATION SYSTEM*

The system, exploiting Vespa MIA application, allows GPS navigation on the TFT display. Once the destination address has been set and navigation has started, the navigation icon appears on the digital display. Navigation can be started directly from the dashboard to any of the recent destinations, it can also be stopped and resumed.

* The navigation system is available only on Vespa Primavera Tech 150 and is free of charge for three years beginning from the first time it is used. Customers can manage the optional renewal at their own expense through in-app purchase

KEYLESS SYSTEM

Keyless system allows the rider to keep the key fob pocketed when unlocking, locking and starting the vehicle. Once connected, the welcome logo lights up on the instrumentation to signal electronic key recognition by the ECU. Dedicated buttons on the electronic key, open the under seat and allow remote use of the Bike Finder function. This function ensures the vehicle is recognisable even at a distance, activating both turn indicators.

It is now that it has ABS braking front and back! However, maybe a GTS 300 or GTV 300 for lots of highway driving might suit better, we sell all of the 300cc Vespa range

City traffic or aggressive riding may increase fuel use slightly, while smooth cruising delivers the best economy.

How often does a Vespa 150 need servicing?

Servicing is straightforward, with an initial service at around 500km – 1,000 km, we like the scooter to be run in for at least 400-500km, then every 3,000 to 5,000 km or annually. A major service is typically carried out at 10,000 km.
