Are Benzina Zero E-Scooters Legal in Queensland?
Yes. Benzina Zero e-scooters can be legally ridden in Queensland when they meet the state’s personal mobility device requirements.
Device Requirements
To be compliant in QLD, e-scooters must meet the following:
Maximum speed of 25 km/h
Maximum weight of 60 kg
Maximum dimensions of 1250 mm (length), 750 mm (width), and 1350 mm (height)
Designed for personal use, either standing or seated
Rider Requirements
Riders must follow these rules:
Minimum age is 16 years to ride independently, or 12 years with adult supervision
An approved helmet must be worn at all times
Riding is permitted on bike paths, shared paths, and local streets where allowed Registration and licensing are not required
