The coastal town of Viña del Mar, in beautiful Valparaíso, Chile, was the host of the 2018 edition of the ISDE from 12th to 17th November. On the ninety-third running of the most long-lived event in Enduro racing, GasGas wanted to celebrate with a special edition. Decorated with the colors of the flag of the host country and with adorned with special components, this bike is a highly exclusive model of which only 400 units will be produced worldwide. Based on the 2019 GasGas Enduro range, the new special-edition Six Days Chile models incorporate Renthal handlebars with central bar and grips to provide better feel at the hands of the rider.
These new technical features come along with the exclusive “2018 ISDE” special graphics, with white plastic, and with a new non-slip seat cover special for this model. And of course, the special-edition Six Days Chile models are built from the same characteristics and quality as its stablemates in the 2019 GasGas Enduro range.
In addition to the handlebar components, specific innovations for this model include a new aluminium handlebar clamp on top of triple clamp, a front axle pull to aid with quick wheel changes, and a Ø260mm NG floating front brake disc to increase performance and meet the demands of braking and reliability throughout the gruelling Six Days.
MADE FOR VERSATILITY
With a dry weight just over 100 kilograms positioning it as one of the lightest bikes on the market, the new Gas Gas EC and XC models show off improvements in its engine and frame and suspension, in addition to its electrical system with a new starter and greater capacity battery system – and the novelty of the double switch map, to get the most out of dry or wet terrain.
As with its revolutionary predecessor, Gas Gas has made a firm commitment with its new models for the maximum quality of their components and details to highlight the fact it is a benchmark in the world of two-stroke endure bikes. A complete list of components, often surprising to see on a production bike, endow the entire GasGas Enduro Range with an exclusive character, equipped in its entirety with suspension from the prestigious firm Kayaba, a Magura clutch pump, FMF exhaust, Kehin carburettor, Neken handlebar, and Excel wheel rims are among the most outstanding features of this 2019 edition.

Amongst the most important, as well as the previously mentioned Kayaba suspension, are the Magura clutch cylinder, the FMF Powercore 2.1 silencer -manufactured exclusively for Gas Gas-, Excel wheels and Metzeler Six Days tyres, as well as the Nissin brake callipers and cylinders and the NG discs … elements trusted by the big names in each part of the manufacture of competition components.
