COVID-19 Update 5

Firstly, Scott and I would like to thank all of our customers for their support and understanding during the last few months.

By assisting us with sanitizing your hands prior to entering the store, keeping your 1.5 meters social distance and, little things, like not touching stock or bikes unless you are intending to purchase, means that it has helped us so much in keeping both you and our staff safe.

It’s been an interesting time since our last COVID-19 Update back on 27th March 2020.  It’s now June and it seems things a looking up in Australia in relation to relaxation of some of our restrictions, but it is still no time to be complacent.

In light of the Queensland Government’s announcements on the weekend, we will be continuing to trade as we have been over the last few months until further restrictions are lifted.

Our limited hours will remain in place at this stage – we are currently open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and closed on Saturdays.

What we are doing to keep our customers and staff safe

In accordance with Safe Work Australia, we are encouraging good health and hygiene practices, including regular hand washing, use of alcohol-based sanitizers, cashless transactions (where possible), social distancing, and minimal contact with customers and staff.

We have installed hand sanitizer dispensers at the entrances of both the retail store and workshop and there are hand sanitizer pumps and tissues available on each staff member’s desk/counter.   Our wash stations are well stocked with hand wash and paper towels and we have advised all staff to limit contact with customers – such as no shaking hands or touching objects, unless necessary.  The workshop team wears disposable gloves during servicing and we disinfect all vehicle keys on receipt and return.  We also regularly clean touched areas, such as EFTPOS terminals, counters and keyboards with disinfectant and alcohol-based cleaning products during each day.

Our freight suppliers no longer require a signature on delivery and are also practicing social distancing to ensure minimal contact with staff.

What you can do as a customer to keep us all safe

  • Sanitize your hands prior to store entry
  • Do not touch objects unless you are intending to purchase them
  • Cover coughs or sneezes with an elbow or tissue
  • No handshaking or touching
  • Cashless transactions preferred
  • Maintain social distancing
  • Do not leave helmets or jackets with us while we are servicing your scooter or motorcycle
  • Understand we are limiting in-store access to ensure we can identify items which may have been touched so that we can disinfect them
