Well, here we all are in 2011! It has been a sorry start to 2011 with the devastating floods occuring accross Queensland, NSW and Victoria. Our thoughts are with all who were affected. Scooter Style is MOVING! Yes, finally we are moving to bigger premises! Anyone who has had the luck to be at Scooter Style during opening or closing will know how important the extra room will be to us…. It is packed in like sardines overnight! Our new address will be 16 Rene Street, Noosaville and we are expecting to be starting our move mid February. So keep your eyes on your email for our next Newsletter when we will be advising all of our moving date and of course, the most important part, the New Shop Warming Party! We have been Piaggio Dealers for a Year! We are celebrating our 1st year of being dealers for Piaggio. This includes the full range of Piaggio products which includes Vespa, Piaggio and Gilera scooters. Over the year, we have seen pretty much the entire range through the shop; the scooters are of the highest quality and the styling is as you would expect, Italian and very classy. The VESPA ‘S’ 125 IE is a flash back to the past design styling of the original Vespas. It is a great looking retro scooter with a snazzy square front headlight. Drop in and check them out! SYM Range - New Models in store Select Scootas have added 2 new Scooters to the SYM range in Australia. They are the SYM SYMBA 100CC and the SYM FIRENZE 300CC. Both scooters are great additions to the SYM Range in Australia. Both of them look terrific, the SYMBA having a new/old school look and the FIRENZE 300CC with a bigger motor, fuel injection and great new headlight - all still at the same price as the FIRENZE 250CC. And the SYM MIO 50CC and SYM MIO 100CC are back in a gorgeous red/white colour scheme. It looks fantastic and is a great change for a classic in the SYM range. The SYM MIO 100CC has always been a favourite of mine; being the first scooter owned after receiving my licence (mine was pink and white with much bling). Barrel of Apples Scooter Rally - Stanthorpe - 11-13 March 2011 The Barrel of Apples Scooter Rally is on in March so now is the time to get in and book if you want to join in on the fun. The numbers from Queensland at the Australian National Rally in April 2010 and at the Boreen Point Rally in October 2010 indicates there should be a great turnout and it should be a barrel of fun. If you were at either event, you'll know it was a great weekend, and if not, you should try and make the 2011 event.
