Scooter Newsletter - March 2007
If you were in the shop toward the end of February you probably noticed that it was getting very low on scooters! Our new stock has arrived and it is looking good. We have a new scooter to the shop in this month – the Le Grande 200. As you can see it is a pretty groovy looking bigger scooter at 170cc and front and rear disk brakes.
Bolwell Le Grande - 150cc Scooter
We also have a full colour range of Mio’s, Sharks in 50cc and 150cc, Red Devils, Jolie’s, PMX Naked’s, Retro’s, the list just keeps going!
You have probably seen a new face here over the last few weeks – Tom has joined us to give Scott a hand a few days a week. As we are getting busier and busier, we decided Scott needed someone to prop him up when he gets a bit too excited.
Also our range of performance items for your scooter is increasing – we stock Malossi and Gianelli bits and pieces including exhaust pipes, rollers, mulitvars and more. Of course, we still have batteries, sparkplugs, oil, filters and all the items you need to keep your scooter in tip top condition.
And our website is growing!!!! Check it out at www.scooterstyle.com.au – thanks to Flaming Yeti who are adding more everyday it seems. We would love to hear what you think of it. The next project is an online shop so that the whole world can have Scooter Style!!!!!!!
Noosa Scooter Association
If you are interesting in being a part of a Noosa Scooter Association which will:
- promote scooter use in the Noosa area
- work with the Noosa Council
- organise Scooter related events in Noosa
- have fun
Please drop into the shop and add your name and contact details to the list so we can get an idea of how many people would be interested. It is not just for Scooter Style customers – it will be a Noosa Scooter Club – so please keep any scooterists you know in the area informed about it.
Holidays Scott and I will be on holidays for a week from Saturday 17th March through to Saturday 24th March. During this time, Jason will be manning the shop and opening for limited hours only. Please ring the shop on 07 5455 5249. We are back on deck from Monday 26th March!
Scooter Style Events!!!!!!!!
The sausage sizzle on Saturday 24th February at Scooter Style went off really well - we even ended up with video on You Tube (thanks to Rob and Shell!). There are about 7 videos so check them out and see what we got up to. And thanks to Chris Mancini of Noosa Council for the great pictures of the day! The photos of the Gmax with the performance exhaust and air filter look just fantastic!
Scooter Style Sausage Sizzle!
We will keep you posted on our next event which will probably occur late April to early May! We are thinking about going BOWLING at Noosa Ten Pin which is a great scooter friendly location!
Tips for Scooting
This month’s tip – securing your scooter PART THREE!!!
Over the last two months we’ve talked about the security which came with your scooter – the steering lock, immobiliser switch and sometimes an ignition lock and the other security options available – cable locks and disk locks. Our next step in security… Insurance.
Of course, any determined thief will make off with your scooter regardless of any security you undertake. Scooter Style is an agent for Suncorp Insurance who offer full comprehensive insurance, “third party, fire and theft” insurance and “third party only” insurance for your scooter.
